Pinehill Pacific Berhad (PinePac) , an establishment renowned for creating a tranquil balance between operating successful plantations and nurturing the ecosystem around it, was founded way back in 24 August 1917. It was then called Benta Rubber Estates Ltd. In 1973, the company was listed in Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange then called Benta Plantations Berhad.
Located in Teluk Intan, Perak; a 3,723-hectare oil palm estate complete with crude palm oil processing facilities that operates within the plantation’s vicinity. In line with the expansion program, Pinehill Ventures; a subsidiary of PinePac acquired 20,665 hectares of land for planting oil palm in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
While a lot has changed since 1917, the core business of PinePac continues to be in oil palm plantation and processing. However, as an investment company, PinePac is open to explore other rewarding sectors that can sustain our company’s long-term success.
We are proud to say that to date, our total oil palm plantation area stands at approximately 3,723 hectares in Malaysia and 20,665 hectares of land for planting of oil palm in District of Sintang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Planting work has started on the land in West Kalimantan progressively and the company started yielding revenue.
In the spirit of enhancing productivity of our oil palm plantations, the company has adopted the best agricultural practices and invested in new technologies to expand processing capabilities. This is a part of our long-term strategy to ensure betterment as we head into the future.

While our priority is to supply the highest quality palm oil, we have not forgotten about managing our environmental impacts reasonably. We have taken conscious efforts to learn about our effect on the environment, and thus have taken positive measures towards minimizing our footprint on the natural surroundings. These include complying with regulatory environmental requirements, especially in the areas of effluent treatment, palm oil biomass recycling, and zero burning. We’re determined to create a healthy balance between our work and conserving the environment in order to set the standard as an eco-friendly company in the eyes of the world.
